However, fate took a tragic turn as he never returned. His devoted grandmother, consumed by patient anticipation, continued to wait on the beach. Touched by her unwavering loyalty, the gods eventually took pity on her, transforming her into a stoic rock.

Astonishingly, the rock bears a striking resemblance to the waiting grandmother. Positioned on the shore, she appears seated and huddled, gazing out towards the endless sea.
